Im 34 years old and havent dealt with acne for 17 years. was on accutane a long time ago and had to come off, have had great skin since. now im dealing with some slight wrinkling/sunspots and want to get on a retinol. could it cause new acne? ty?

In your case it's more apt to first cause irritation or peeling of skin before your skin eventually settles down. A dermatologist, because of vastly more experience with retinol, is best to advise you though.
