A week ago, in an enclosed sunporch i was vacuuming, and it had mouse droppings in it. my son was in there with me while i was cleaning. today we both have a dry cough but no other symptoms. i am concerned about the hantavirus?

Hantavirus is caused by mouse feces, saliva and urine. If you or your son came in contact with any of the previous and touched your eyes ,mouth, or nose than you are at risk. The initial symptoms are fatigue, fever, and muscle aches. Since non of the above have occurred than both of you are fine. If any other symptoms arise contact your PCP.
