Noticed a hard lump shaped like rice in the tube behind my testicle a few years ago, wasnt causing any pain and isnt attached but theres now pain in the tubes behind. could this be cancerous even if not attached or is the pain likely an infection?

Sometimes there is a structure called appendix testis which conforms to what you describe and is not cancerous. Cancer occurs in the body of the testicle. Have your doc or a Urologist teach you how to examine the testicle proper for cancer
