How far was your pregnancy? That tissue is likely the aborted fetus and it should come out eventually with vaginal bleeding or you can evacuate it yourself. Period-like bleeding may persists days to weeks with gradually lower flow. If you bleed excessively with pelvic pain, you should go to the hospital. Good luck.
