A member asked:

On a cardio respiratory exercise test it showed evidence of good ventilatory reserve at peak but no cardiovascular reserve and very high blood pressure at peak. could you please explain what this means and what could be the cause. thank you very much?

A systolic BP up to 200 is normal at peak exercise. I'm unclear as to how much emphasis is given to maximal heart rate in your assessment of cardiovascular reserve as there's some disagreement if it's a good criterion. Did you think you did OK during the test? I'd be inclined to consult a cardiologist for a thorough cardiac evaluation including resting EKG, treadmill stress test, echocardiogram.
