My mother was diagnosed with diverticulitis. are strictures common? she is able to poop but its smaller size stool and its not hard. shes on antibiotics. is there anything else to help? she just started antibiotics?

Duplicate question, see previous reply. Colonic stricture conceivably could occur, but is very rare, especially after only one episode of diverticulitis.
