2 days ago i started to get cavity pain. the pain is not as bad but i have had a sore throat the past 2 days also and i also woken up with a fever and my duvet soaked. i also just sniffed and spat out some red phlegm. what is this likley to be?

Your cavity pain could be the referred pain from the pharyngitis rather than the cause of your current symptoms. If you have other upper respiratory symptoms like congestion, sneezing, runny nose, etc. then you probably have a viral infection. Without any other respiratory symptoms you may have a strep throat infection, new or recurrent, then you will need antibiotic. Good luck.
