I''ve been taking sulfasalazine (500 mg in morning and 500 mg at night) for 2.5 months. i have a dental surgery (apicectomy) scheduled for next week. which painkiller can i take safely for the next 3-4 days that won't interact with sulfasalazine?

You may not need any opioid drug. You are on an anti- inflammatory already and pain should be tolerable with ES TYLENOL and ADVIL. Consult with your PCP.
