Many options: The category of painkiller that is risky after avm surgery are medicines that are 'blood-thinners', like aspirin, and possibly nsaids (ibuprofen, naproxen, others). Four months out from avm surgery, your risk of bleeding is low, but nonetheless, it is wise to choose from a different class of painkillers, such as tylenol (acetaminophen) or other prescription painkillers-- see your physician; there are many options.

Ask your Doctor: If epidural steroid injection is OK to do. Sometimes it is sometimes its too risky. Depends on your situation.
