Cervical mm spasm: Can also be treated by osteopathic doc or sports medicine doc or physiatrist, any of whom can refer u to physical therapy if needed. Neurologist may b able to recommend doc in your area, or check w/ local hospital for such specialists or local medical society or yellow pages. Trigger point injxns or Botox may help.

Not nummular: Nummular headache is considered to be inflammation of a branch of the trigeminal nerve in the scalp. The headache is highly localized, doesn't move around, and typically sharp. Usually a small area (hence the name. ... Coin-sized area). I do not see how a muscle spam in the neck (far away from scalp) could cause a highly localized nerve problem. More likely, you have two separate problems.
