You are way overreacting to a very safe drug taken by millions of women, mostly with no side effects at all. Discuss with your gyn or whoever has prescribed it for you. All hormonal contraceptives have the same list of side effects and all are rare. Also look at it this way: the same side effects occur a hundred times more commonly in pregnant women. So the pill reduces your risk of problems.
