Odd prescription: Provera (medroxyprogesterone) is not typically given for 90 days although in your specific case there may be a reason it was prescribed in such a way. I would clarify with the prescribing doctor that this is the dose and duration that was intended

Possibly: The most important thing is that the doctor who prescribed the Provera (medroxyprogesterone) knows that this patient has a history of superficial clots. A person with that history is at risk of more dangerous clots that can be life-threatening. That is not to say that the patient absolutely cannot take Provera (medroxyprogesterone). But the doctor has to carefully weigh the risks and benefits and needs to be aware of that health history.
