My doughter 2 years old last year he was diagnosed with hepat b.we did the re-check and the results of the analysis are:1.the analyzed sample is negative for the presence of viral dna. 2. ast 28 u/l alt 12.1 u/l tbil) 0.29 mg/dl. what does it mean ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I would question why the Hep B label was given. If she received the Hep B vaccine at birth as most do in the US she would have antibodies to hep B but no virus.
