A member asked:

Does most psoriasis plaques come and go? from what i understand psoriasis has on and off flares, so i assume that means an individual plaque clear up but a new new one can spring later? or does a single plaque stay forever?

Everyone is different but psoriatic plaques can persist or they can completely heal-although scarring is common if the plaque is more severe. And, new ones can develop whenever there is a flare. A rheumatologist is the best doctor to provide treatment options. Good luck to you!
