Eat less salt and animal protein with fluid intake for a total urine about 2 liters a day would be the best prevention for most types of kidney stone. Good luck.

Because your Mom has kidney stones does not necessarily mean you will have them too. Eat a healthy diet, drink lots of water, avoid dehydration, get urine checked periodically and enjoy life instead of worrying about something which might never happen
