CRP and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR, "sed rate") are markers of inflammation. There must be a hundred or more conditions that could be responsible; it isn't possible to know without a lot more information. Cancer might do it, but that's a lot less likely than various infections and immunologic conditions. Keep working with your doctor; or see an internal medicine specialist. Good luck.
