My 63 years old father was prescribed 0.1 mg florinef (fludrocortisone) daily for hypotension. he took it for 4 months and reduced the dose to half (0.05 mg) 3 weeks ago. should he stop taking it without tapering as his bp is around 143/68 at night?

Florinef is very special and serious medication, and must be managed by a physician. It is very unsafe for a patient to manage this on their own. Recommendation consultation and management by the prescribing physician.
