The "pop" sound that was heard during the incident could be an indication of a partial or complete tear of the Achilles tendon. However, the absence of immediate pain and swelling does not necessarily rule out an injury. In some cases, it may take a few hours or days for symptoms to fully develop. It is important to seek medical attention if these symptoms persist or worsen over time.
