These conditions vary in intensity with each case and many go on to have children. The average wait for a desired pregnancy without these factors is 6 months with a range of weeks to a year. If you double that as an expectation I would likely do a fertility center consult after 2 years without success. Both parents are studies, since both must contribute to the success.
