Possible: Infertility associated with pcos is due to ovulatory dysfunction. If pcos is accompanied by obesity, 1st line of treatment is to lose weight (diet, exercise). Losing as little as 5% of one's body weight may restart ovulation, making conceiving a possibility. On the other hand, Clomiphene citrate (ovulation induction agent) usually works well in pcos and is inexpensive. Seek gyn for management.

Possible: Many women with pcos do conceive without any treatment. It may take longer but can still happen. Good luck.
