I've had intense pain in my lower abdomen and back for 3-4 days now. today it felt like bubbles popping up my right ribs and pain was there after. i've had pain like this before due to my kidney, but it's never lasted this long. what could it be?

Have you been investigated for kidney stones? Has a urinalysis with microscopic examination of the sediment been done? Have you had a kidney& urinary bladder ultrasound? Xrays of your spine? These are the types of studies I feel would shed light on your symptoms. Consult your MD or a urologist for appropriate testing.
