This is impossible to answer without a lot more information. How likely are you to have been infected (sexual lifestyle etc)? Have you had genital or anal warts? Have you been vaccinated against HPV? How long do you mean by "X" years? Do you have sex with men or women? And so on....

In 90% of the people who acquire it the virus clears. and they are not transmitters. The 10% can pass it on for the virus is always there
