Isn't 1 tablespoon of nysatin 4 times daily for oral thrush a bit too much? i read the label and it seems like the recommended dose is about a third less. for a 130 lbs female?

For oral thrush, you should be swishing it around in your mouth and then spitting it out. If this is what you are doing then this dose is not excessive since it is not being absorbed. It is being used for topical therapy only. Good luck to you!

The recommended dose is 1ml after meals and once before bed. Leave three hours between doses and don't eat or drink anything for 30 minutes after taking it. Swish in mouth for 30 seconds like mouthwash and then swallow it. Do this for at least a week.
