How long does it take for oral thrush to go away while on nystatin? its been 5 days and it seems to have improved but not gone yet. im taking 2ml 4x daily for 10 days. should i be patient or do i need a pill?

Confirm diagnosis: The first thing is to be certain the diagnosis is correct. Oral yeast infections (thrush) are not common except in people who have recently been on antibiotics, are on immune-supresssing drugs, or otherwise immune deficient, e.g. AIDS, chemotherapy etc. A coated tongue, for example, usually is not yeast.
