A few things cause a thick line on the inside of the lower lip on one side. May be a mucocele, a fluid-filled sac that forms in the mouth when a salivary gland becomes blocked or damaged. Mucoceles, usually harmless, can go away on their own, but may require medical treatment if they become infected or persist. Another is a fibroma, which is a benign, or oral cancer which isn't. Get checked.
