I routinely clean my ears with peroxide on a qtip. i dont push it in the canal. but tonight as it lossnded up it looked like mucus. i had a cold and im still coughing up stuff from it. could i have mucus in my ears? is that possible? ear feels full?

You can have mucous or even pus in the outer ear canal. You can get an infection of the ear canal. If it hurts when you pull on your ear, that is the likely diagnosis. Treatment consists of antibiotic ear drops. If the infection gets into the middle ear, treatment involves oral antibiotics. With that infection, you typically feel sicker-can include fever. Call your doctor to diagnose/treat.
