If you're passing relatively small amounts of urine during urinary frequency, it may be due to the side effect of incomplete emptying of your bladder that SSRIs like lexapro can cause. This incomplete emptying of the bladder usually causes urinary frequency. Polyuria is actually the passing of huge amounts of very dilute urine.

Recently went from 10mg of Lexapro to 20 mg of Lexapro (MD orders). I seem to have an increase in urination frequency. No other symptoms (No burning / cloudy urine). I have heard this is a side effect of SSRI's. Is this true? if so, will it go away?
