Since your cramps occur prior to your menstrual bleeding, your period may just be delayed this month, and ovulation delay will cause this. Ovulation delay is associated with stress (emotional, job or work related, etc.). If your period does not occur in two or three days, obtain a serum HCG test to be certain about pregnancy.
