I think you're passing mucus with the diarrhea. Have you been evaluated for your chronic diarrhea by your physician or a gastroenterologist with appropriate testing? Mucus in stools isn't concerning unless it's copious. If you have irritable bowel syndrome, a gastroenterologist is best to help you get it under control.

If using laxatives, it is likely that they contribute to the change in the aspect of your stool. You definitely need help for your eating disorder before getting significant complications. Start with your primary care doc.
