Your gas could be from the underlying constipation as they often go together, but the medications you are using could also be causing this. It would be best to discuss this with your doctor as there are probably better solutions for this. You may also need to see a specialist (gastroenterologist).

You should keep track of anything that seems to make the problem worse and try to avoid it. You may need an evaluation by a gastroenterologist to sort out the causes and to make more definitive recommendations for your bowels. You should have a colonoscopy if you haven’t already.
