A member asked:

My son has pain in his right nipple when pressed, is going to puberty [14y], looks normal, will it get better?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Around 1/3 &1/2 of males will respond to low levels of hormones in early puberty with nipple enlargement & a small amount of spongy breast tissue just under the nipple. It may affect one or both sides & last about a year in most cases before gradually going away.Rarely it can last longer.
