Bmp was ran to check kidney function, everything came back normal, except my anion gap came back at 216?! i have been dropping protein in my urine recently, i have a stone in each kidney, both are non obstructive, but my kidneys are measuring smaller?

Protein in your urine means you are having kidney damage from something mostly diabetes or high blood pressure. Always send normal values. I do not recognize an anion gap of 216. Impossible I think depending on how they are measuring. it. Something is making your kidneys smaller. Discuss with your Drs who have looked at the films. i
