Can untreated (for 2+ years) c. trachomatis cause heart inflammation/damage?

Untreated chlamydia infections in a female potentially causes damage to the fallopian tubes causing fertility problems& possible future pelvic inflammatory issues. I don't think there's any connection to cardiac complications.

Certain types of committee or infections can increase the risk of autoimmune heart disease, although it is not the same organism that is usually the STD (C.trachomatis ). It is unclear whether the untreated STD would give any extra cardiac risk. Good luck.
