How are elite controller for hiv diagnosed do they have prolong window period?

Elite controllers have normal results HIV antibody and antigen tests, and almost all have positive PCR tests for HIV RNA. The difference in diagnosis is that the RNA levels on PCR usually are very low, and once in a while entirely negative.
