Avoid constipation, use warm sitz baths and use otc nupercaine ointment. If not better pl see a surgeon. You might need treatment- banding, injection or removal. Hope you feel better

Generally, external hemorrhoids respond to conservative therapy within a week or two, but if your symptoms are worsening or not improving, you may need to see a Gastroenterologist or a G.I. surgeon for a more definitive treatment of the hemorrhoids. Good luck.

If the hemorrhoid is severely painful, it may be thrombosed ( blood clot formation). Treatment for this involves making a small incision to remove the clot. A proctologist or colorectal surgeon is best to do this. In the meantime apply warm wet compresses. Your pharmacist can recommend a cream containing a numbing agent & corticosteroid to apply.
