See a doctor: See a doctor to evaluate the situation and perhaps consider surgical procedures. A good exam might help reveal underlying causes that can be corrected to prevent recurrences.

May be: A painful thrombosed external hemorrhoid. Go to an er for evaluation or call your doctor to get a referral to a surgeon for treatment with incision and drainage if needed. A thrombosed external hemorrhoid will also resolve on its own with warm bath soaks over about a week.
