Hi, so i just had my baby girl a few days ago, and as i was changing her i noticed a white milky discharge coming from her vaginal area. its also jelly like. does anyone know what this could be and is it normal?

It is from the decrease in hormones that you passed to the baby. Sometimes milky white,rarely blood- tinged, it is harmless. You only need to gently wipe it off (from top to bottom, as you would wipe yourself).

Girl babies have the same parts as you. When they clamp the cord, estrogen from your body stops going to her and a few days after birth up to a 3rd of girls can have withdrawal consisting of mucous or even bloody show. Just keep the area clean and it should stop shortly.
