During recent pregnancy my ferritin level was 6 and therefore i had two iron transfusions . six months later and two blood tests months apart show ferritin is high . first time it was 350 and second time 270. could this be due to transfusions had?

Yes it could be due to the transfusions. At the same time, ferritin goes up in the setting of acute infection or other inflammatory states, so without more information, it is difficult to know for sure. Please speak with your treating doctor about this.
