A member asked:

I have severe dyspnea yet after every test imaginable (xray's, ct, mri, tee, right & left heart cath diagnosed with borderline copd, minor scaring). recent complete blood test revealed low ferritin, high total iron, slightly low hemoglobin of 12.7 l?

Although status of COVID-19 and length of time with dyspnea was not in your question, respiratory complaints are common with COVID-19, and can persist for many months after an active infection. If your physical activity is limited and has been for some time, gradual increase (walking at comfortable pace for increasing periods, etc) may improve your condition.

The cause of your dyspnea is not revealed by the tests you describe. Your hemoglobin is indicative of anemia but this appears to be mild, nit adequate to cause "severe" dyspnea. You should continue evaluation by your physician to determine the cause of your symptoms. Good luck.
