Would a pelvic exam show cervical cancer if it was advanced enough to of spread to the bladder? i've been having extremely painful and frequent urination for weeks. dr said pee hole is swollen, recently had clamydia finished antibiotics?

These symptoms do not suggest cancer, either of the cervix or anywhere else. A routine pelvic exam would immediately detect a problem if cervical or other cancer involved your bladder. Chlamydia could cause meatal ("pee hole") inflammation, but not after Rx with doxycycline or azithromycin. Also get checked for trichomonas and Mycoplasma genitalium. Good luck.

Yes advanced cancer can be seen during a pelvic exam. Your symptoms and findings do not indicate that. You have a urinary problem Drink plenty of water and see a Urologist. Good luck
