If you are sexually active, irritation from cervical inflammation can cause bleeding or spotting as described. See your GYN physician for an exam and treatment, as cautery of the cervix will generally stop this.

It has to be assessed whether the red spotting is in the urine or from the vagina. Best to see your Gyn and also get a clean catch mid stream urinalysis.
