Is it true that if you're diagnosed with myocarditis and there is fibrosis you're prognosis is poor and that person has only a 50% chance of surviving 5 years?

Every case is different; it probably is not accurate to generalize to all myocarditis with or without fibrosis. Your cardiologist is the only appropriate source of advice for this question. Good luck.
