This condition is called angular cheilitis which is a common skin condition affecting the corners of your mouth. This can lead to painful, cracked sores. This is not a cold sore and is not contagious. Special skin ointments, medications, and a diet change will alleviate this condition .Keep lips moisturized and no smoking.
