If you are anemic, a complete blood count would reveal that, mostly by a lower hemoglobin and hematocrit level. It could also suggest whether or not you are iron deficient. This is a very simple test that your primary care doctor Can arrange. Do not ignore it. Good luck.

If I'm looking to make a diagnosis of definitive iron deficiency anemia,I've insisted that there are the following: low serum iron & high iron binding capacity, low MCV,low MCH, lowMCHC and,of course, low Hgb & low Hct. If you're not dealing with anemia, be sure to have your cardiac & thyroid status evaluated.
