You should speak with your doctor first. It will depend on a number of factors, including how long you have been on your current dose, what your TSH was before, the level of your T4, etc. So, you really need to review these lab results with the doctor who is prescribing your thyroid medicine. TSH level of 7.14 is only slightly elevated. This shows mildly hypothyroid, but not enough to call symptoms. Your dose of thyroid hormone replacement needs to be managed by a physician. It is not safe to just double up the dose on your own.
