If your mother is having chest pain, you need to take her to the nearest emergency room to have this evaluated. Chest pain can be due to a heart issue, especially if she recently had an angiogram. Chest pain can signify something serious so please take her to the nearest ER for evaluation and treatment. Good luck to both of you!

You mean she had pain on the wrist where the arterial puncture had been done, not where the stent is. The stent is inside one of the coronary arteries, not at the wrist. Her chest pain has nothing to do with that lifting event. Chest pain may still happen even she had angioplasty with stent(s). She can take NTG for the pain besides the current meds. If pain recurs often, she should see her doctor

Chest pain 3 days after a coronary stent was inserted is concerning. Occlusion of the stent is the main worry. Notify the cardiologist ASAP.about her chest pain. . If you don't get a call back right away, take her to the hospital emergency where prompt care is available.
