I'm wondering if i sprained my ankle or fractured it. i've sprained my ankle many times but it feels worse than usual. it is my right ankle. i landed on it folded inward. how can i tell? how long should i wait or can i wait to get an x-ray?

See a podiatrist for an examination. They will determine if a radiograph is necessary and what treatment, if any, should be rendered. Waiting may not allow the injury to heal properly.
