Currently taking apixaban and the last few days have had some pretty terrible tenderness on the back of my thigh. no swelling or redness. not sure if a dvt can present on the very back of the thigh but i guess i am concerned. should i be worried?

Always possible, however you should be protected by taking apixaban, would worry about a deep hematoma or a muscular issue rather. Best would be to let your current prescriber know so that you get it addressed promptly.
