A member asked:

I have pernicious anemia... can i substitute methylcobalamin drops instead of cyanocobalamin injections?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

B12 can be taken in a tablet or pill form instead of injections, usually this will be effective and therapeutic. A physician needs to monitor your B12 levels. This has been studied, and will document to be effective and most patience. Methylcobalamin drops have not been studied to the best of my knowledge, scientifically, and prove to be effective.
