A member asked:

Will i start experiencing neurological symptoms all of a sudden 2 years after being removed from co exposure ? and if i do develop them , will they worsen over time ? i had chronic co exposure for 8 months and have had zero symptoms so far?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

There are potential delayed effects of carbon monoxide exposure such as insidiously and progressively developing Parkinson's Disease years after initial exposure. A PET scan may be a tool to assess possible damage, but there is little if anything you will be able to do at this point.
